As a person who has no influence over either groups, you may encourage the lady employee to send a mail to the team’s manager, requesting for the issue to be discussed.
Since this is a group of employees against another group of employees, informal methods of conciliation may be opted for.
The following steps may be taken into consideration:
a. Check with the Manager to assess if these allegations are true
b. Call the alleged ‘team’ into a discussion and share the complaint received
c. Hear them out in terms of their arguments
d. Read/Share the ASH policy guidelines
e. Mandate a class room training for them team to sensitise on the issue
f. Post 30-45 days, check with manager on whether there is a change in the behaviour
If no change has been observed, then stricter actions may need to be taken.Â
